Kluane, Wrangell-St. Elias, Glacier Bay and Tatshenshini-Alsek are an impressive complex of glaciers and high peaks on both sides of the border between the US (Alaska) and Canada (Yukon Territory and British Coiumbia). This complex of national parks and protected areas has an amazing natural landscape covered by majestic snow and ice, which is also home to North American sheep, reindeer and grizzly bears. .
The total area of this estate is more than 32 million acres, equivalent to about 500,000 square miles and 130,000 km2. Not only has a large area with majestic natural beauty, this heritage also has a diverse flora and fauna because the terrain changes from the mainland to the sea and also entails changes of flora and fauna. In the reserve and national park there are four main areas, these are the systems that make up this natural heritage: Kluane National Park and Reserve; Wrangell-St.Elias National Park and Reserve; National Park and Glacier Bay reserve; Tatshenshini-Alsek Park . This multinational heritage was first recognized in 1979 and expanded in 1992 and 1994.

Kluane Reserve
Kluane Reserve is located in the southwestern Yukon, established in 1976 with an area of 22,016km2. The reserve has the highest mountain in Canada, which is Mount Logan with a height of 5,959 meters above sea level. Mountains and glaciers cover 82% of the reserve area. It is estimated that there are more than 100 bird species in Kluane reserve, including snow white grouse (lagopus muta), golden eagle (aquila chrysaetos) and white-headed eagle (haliaeetus leucocephalus).

Wrangell-Saint Elias Biosphere Reserve
Wrangell-Saint Elias Biosphere Reserve is located in southern Alaska , established in 1980 with an area of 53,321km2. This area has the highest peak in the United States - Mount St. Elias with a height of 5,489 meters above sea level. The Wrangell-Saint Elias biosphere reserve was formed under the direction of US President Jimmy Carter. The climate in the reserve is quite harsh with long winters, very low temperatures and extremely short summers. Wrangel Mountain l is a volcano that existed tens of thousands of years ago. Glacier Bay National Park

Tatshenshini-Alsek Park
