Many argue that the origins of human ancestors are from Africa, but the latest research by an international team of scientists found that the common ancestors of humans and gibbons were from Asia.

This discovery brought a "fatal" blow to ancient traditional biological theory that the ancestors of humans came from Africa.
After conducting primate fossil analysis discovered in Myanmar dating back to about 37 million years ago, the international team of scientists has proved the hypothesis given about 13 years ago for that human ancestral origins come from Asia .
In 1997, a group of French archaeologists discovered the fossil of Bahinia pondaungensis in Myanmar. Based on this finding, scientists have hypothesized the origin of human ancestors from Asia. Bahinia pondaungensis is dated to the Eosimias centennicus, however later than the Eosimias sinensis.
After conducting the study, the scientists determined the fossil of the gibbon Bahinia pondaungensis of the ape species, on the basis of which it has been shown that a group of gibbon in history originated in Asia .
In addition, the group of scientists also pointed out that before the discovery of ancient biological evidence, the claim of the origin of the high-end primate from Asia, not from Africa, is not controversial and undeniable.
