Radioactive clouds spread in the northern hemisphere

Most monitoring stations of the international CTBTO in the northern hemisphere have found radioactivity leaked from the Japanese Fukushima I. nuclear power plant.

The report of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam said that it is expected that by the afternoon of March 26, radioactive clouds had spread across the northern hemisphere, however, the cloud did not enter the airspace of Vietnam.

Stations of CTBTO (National Data Center of Comprehensive Nuclear Weapons Test Prohibition) can detect radioactive nuclei with very low concentrations in the atmosphere.The radiation dose caused by these radioactive nuclei is very low and does not affect human health , the text of the Ministry of Science and Technology stressed.

The report, released yesterday afternoon, also shows that, according to the image simulating radioactive clouds for Southeast Asia, there is now a south-west direction for the location of the Fukushima I power plant. / 3 still tend to go to Indonesia and Malaysia and not to Vietnam.

Three monitoring stations of Vietnam (two in Hanoi and one in Da Lat) until late afternoon have not detected any unusual radiation.
