Recreate the face according to the skull

A mother in Russia recovered her baby's body when she looked at photographs of a man, reconstructed from a broken head.

Between software (muscles) and skulls there are certain correlation indicators. Based on that, from the 1940s, scientist Gerasimov developed a method to recreate the human face according to the skull.

In 1940, a woman named Valentina, 22 years old, originally from Stalingrat city (now Volgagrat) was suddenly missing. About 6 months later, it was found on a small island in the outskirts of the city a skeleton of women could not be identified. Is it Valentina? Kirkina apprentice asked Gerasimov for help.

Gerasimov has recovered his corpse face. The top Piotropski doctoral science committee has confirmed that the woman is Valentina. However, the Supreme Court of the Soviet Union at the time did not recognize it as a criminal examination, but only as a work of art. The main reason is because Gerasimov was previewed by Valentina when he was still alive.

Despite this, Gerasimov was not discouraged. In the spring of 1950, it was found that the body of a man who had nearly washed away could not be identified, at the foot of a pile of straw next to a small village outside Moscow. Based on his method, Gerasimov completely covered this man's head with a lively face; and he determined it was a young man about 24-25 years old. The statue was taken from 3 sides and sent to the neighborhood to identify. Soon, a mother realized that it was her son's image, born in 1925 and missing since 1949.

Since this incident, Gerasimov's method of restoring the human face to the skull has been recognized and confirmed as a reliable criminal engineering measure. In the following years, with this method, he also helped the security agency to build many corpses to investigate victims and find the effective enemy.

In 1955, Gerasimov again proposed to apply his method to restoring ancient faces. And he successfully restored the face of many historical figures like IU. Dongaruski Iaroslap Mudorou, Anray Bololiusky .

Thanks to the help of criminal science experts, Polish archaeologists in 2006 also announced the successful reconstruction of the astronomer face Nicolas Copernic, considered to be the founder of astronomy. modern. And they hope that the face that has been restored will become the official face of Copernic in the books.

In Vietnam, Dr. Nguyen Van Viet, Director of the Center for Southeast Asian History, also said: On the basis of comparing international and Vietnamese indicators, he coordinated the way of combining software of the face of Gerasimov, has just used linkage standards to build the faces of some ancient Vietnamese skulls that are thousands of years old.
