Revealing the ancient architecture of the Ly - Tran Dynasty
In the process of restoring an ancient well in the area of Xuan Giang - Nghi Xuan commune (Ha Tinh), Nguyen Du Relic Management Board discovered traces of an ancient architectural work in the Ly - Tran period.
According to the Management Board of Nguyen Du relic, belonging to Ha Tinh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the location of the above mentioned architecture is located 100m to the west of Tam Toa temple (worshiping Prince Ly Nhat Quang) in the area of Xuan commune. The area of ancient architecture was discovered
The vestiges of a new ancient architectural structure were discovered about 30m 2 , in which the visible traces are a rectangular foundation made up of pebble materials and various types of terracotta bricks. Among the materials discovered at the foundation of ancient architecture, discovered a rectangular stone measuring 0.40m long, 030m wide, 10cm thick, one edge of the stone is concave square.
Talking to PV, Mr. Ho Bach Khoa, acting head of the Relic Management Board Nguyen Du said: "In the first step of the research, we have identified the above-mentioned vestiges as the foundation of an architectural work. ancient times of Ly - Tran period, meaning spiritual beliefs located in the complex of temples of District and surrounding areas ".
According to Mr. Khoa, the Center for Culture and Beliefs during the Ly - Tran Dynasty of Nghi Xuan - Ha Tinh lands still has many mysteries that need to be investigated.
