The school teachers called him 'robot playing organ' . The opening day of this year is also the day this robot was born after years of diligently studying the teachers and students of Viettronic College.

This piano player is born of the idea of ​​Mr. Dao Dao Khanh, director of ARACAT Automation Research Application Center.

As a specialized automation teacher who likes to play organ, likes to immerse himself in music, so the idea was formed one day with the question: 'Why not make a robot to play for me? ? '.

After years of poring over the devices, the robot finally came out with the anticipation of students and teachers of Viettronic College.

Mr. Khanh shared: 'The instrument is applied a lot of technologies such as microprocessor-controlled position technology, mechanical motion control, computer pairing. To complete the piano playing is a process of exploring, experimenting and carefully calculating technical parameters.

At first we had a lot of difficulties but more and more passion. Now seeing the robot playing piano, it was a great experience. '

The robot consists of parts: two hands are attached to a position control system along the fretboard, the fingers are made of plastic.

Add an organ, a controller and a computer. If programmed, the robot can play any song, and it can be combined with other musicians, other musical instruments such as guitar, trumpet .

Known that the robot will become a teaching model, it will work with students in robotics lessons and research.

Now when the fast-moving robot's fingers move smoothly on the keys, the sound of the organ echoes throughout the room, 'thinking that the day when robot playing organ can become a musician in some of the school's musical performances. It is very interesting, ' said Mr. Khanh.
