Robot teaching
'Hello children, let's start this lesson today, do you open the book?' In a standard English voice, teacher Tiro attracted the children from the first sentence.
Tiro is a robot tutor for a teacher in an English-speaking class at Euon Elementary School, Daejon City, Korea. Tiro asks the students questions and displays the student's name on the screen in front of the chest.
The students were very fond of Tiro's " teacher ", and the teachers were quite satisfied with this assistant in the classroom.
Tiro is the product of Hanool Robotics Company and four leading universities of Korea. Like Japan, South Korea is aiming to become a leader in the robot industry and is expected by 2020, every house in the country has robots.
