Russia recruited new space pilots for the mission to conquer the Moon

On March 14, the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) issued a new recruitment notice for training to become a space pilot for the mission to conquer the Moon.

According to the announcement, Roscosmos will recruit 6-8 space pilots to train the new generation of spacecraft being developed and these will be the first Russians to fly to the Moon, expected in 2031.

At a press conference, CEO of controlled programs Sergei Krikalyov said the recruitment would not distinguish skin color or gender. In addition, according to information from the First Deputy Director Roscosmos Alexander Ivanov, applicants can apply in the next four months.

The new space pilots will control the first launch of a new manned transport spacecraft called Federatsiya and continue the Lunar subjugation program.

The notice states that the criteria for candidates are under 35 years old, 1.5-1.9m high and weigh no more than 90kg. In addition, candidates need to have skills in information technology, know a foreign language, have an engineering degree, either a pilot pilot, or have experience in the aerospace or aerospace industries.

Health is also an important criterion and in order to become a space pilot, the registrant must ski over a 5km distance, and will have to undergo physical, mental and sub-health tests. Department for women.

The Federatsiya spacecraft is designed to land on the Moon with a crew of four. This manned ship is expected to be launched for the first time in 2023 from Russia's new space airport in the Far East.

Russia currently has 30 space pilots, of which 14 have never been in space. The oldest is currently 58-year-old Gennady Padalka, and holds the world record for the longest time in space, while the youngest is Ivan Vagner, 31 years old.
