Russia conquered the Moon in 2030

Russia will focus on studying programs to explore the Moon in its journey to conquer the universe.

Year 2030 Russia conquers the moon

Under the plan, Russia will launch three unmanned spacecraft to the Moon and proceed to realize the goal of bringing people to Earth's natural satellite.

"We see this as a collaborative project and are ready to call for partners to work together ," IB Times quoted Igor Komarov, head of the Russian Space Agency Roscosmos.

Mars is a top priority for the US Aerospace Agency (NASA), and for Russia, the mission to bring people to explore the Moon in the period of 2029-2030 is considered an important priority. This excludes any technology race between the two countries. Komarov said Russia and the United States could cooperate in the program, and sanctions against Russia did not affect the cooperation on the International Space Station (ISS).

Russia's mark in the space race was marked by the successful launch of the artificial satellite Sputnik 1 and astronaut Yuri Gagarin became the first person to fly into space in 1961. In 1974, the Lunokhod self-propelled device 1 and Lunokhod 2 moved 40 km on the lunar terrain, took panoramic pictures and analyzed soil samples. Years later, new Mars self-propelled devices performed similar tasks on the red planet.

The moon is becoming a concern of many countries in the world. India's Chandrayaan-2 is expected to be launched to the Moon in the next two years, while Japan and China also plan for 2018 and 2020 respectively.
