Yurchikhin will be joined by American astronaut Karen Nyberg and Italian Luca Parmitano on the 28th space station.
The software was designed by the Russian Photographers Association with the support of the Russian Federation Council. According to Oleg Panteleyev, a project participant, this software is actually a slideshow with thousands of natural photos combined with soft sounds.
Mr. Panteleyev stressed to RIA Novosti news agency, the most important thing is that the photos will be shown synchronously with the location of ISS. For example, if the space station is in Canada's position, astronauts will be able to admire the photos of native areas, trees and animals.
Panteleyev added: 'Such a program will be very useful for astronauts because of course they will miss the beautiful scenes on Earth after months of not seeing it'.
