Russia successfully launched Anik G1 telecommunications satellite
On the evening of April 15, Russia carried out the successful launch of Canada's Anik G1 telecommunications satellite from Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan.
According to the plan, on the morning of April 16, Anik G1 satellite flew into its orbit.
Anik G1 telecommunications satellite is designed and used to provide various communication services in three geographic areas.
In particular, Anik G1 has 24 sets of C- satellite satellites and 12 Ku band satellite satellites, and Anik G1 designed to replace Anik F1 satellites providing telecommunications services in South America region.
In particular, 16 Ku band satellite satellites will be reserved for Canadian satellite TV operator DTH Shaw.
In addition, three X-band satellite transponders will allow the provision of special national-level communications in the US and the Pacific as well as can be used for the communication needs of people.
