"Communication problems occurred due to fiber optic systems at the ground information center," a central spokesman for RIA Novosti knew.
The Soyuz waits for Russia's Russian astronaut Dmitry Kondratyev, NASA Coleman and NASA Nespoli of the European space center to arrive at the international station on 20h30 GMT today. Astronauts will stay on the station for 152 days.
There are no safety concerns for astronauts. However, this incident is noticeable, because there have been numerous failures related to Soyuz this year.
There are some problems about docking or leaving the station for this space shuttle. Previously, the Proton (not carrying people) could not bring three satellites into orbit.
After American shuttles retired, the Russian Soyuz fleet was the only link between the international space station and the earth.
