Scarves change color according to clothing

Picture 1 of Scarves change color according to clothing Those who do not have aesthetics will no longer have to worry about the scarves reflecting with their clothes this winter. Researchers have created a product that can automatically change color to match the costume.

The towel color, also known as towel chameleon, by Akira Wakita and colleagues at Keio University in Tokyo, Japan, made.

Interwoven in fabric is pixels containing red, blue and blue diodes. Adjusting the brightness of each diode will give the scarf a new overall color. A small sensor attached to the fabric also helps it recognize the color of the nearest costume. A micro computer will select the appropriate color for the towel to adjust itself.

That means if the owner is wearing dark blue, the scarf will automatically turn to light green to match. However, if the wearer wants a more daring fashion style, the computer can be adjusted to create more fancy color combinations. "In theory, about 4,000 colors can be created," Wakita said. "But the difference will be hard to spot with the naked eye."

The scar was introduced at the International Computer Conference (ISW2005) in Osaka, Japan in October.
