Secondary students invent 500 times

A Chinese middle school student has invented a very economical paper that can be used again and again about 500 times.

This paper is about the size of A4 paper, on the surface covered with a thin film. Especially, this paper is very convenient and can use many types of pens such as pens, water pens, oil paints to write on.

With all the traces left on paper, just use soft toilet paper or wipes can clean and look like new. Even the letters that saved so many months on it could be cleaned.

This invention was devised by Xu Bang, a junior high school student in Hefei, Anhui Province, China. He is currently applying for a patent for his invention.

Tu Bang said, he created this paper with the desire to save paper for schools. The demand for students' paper is huge, while the price is expensive. Students at his school had to buy notebooks at the school gate for 1 yuan and only 25 pages. Each of those books is not enough for 1 week. 'Some students often use paper and notebooks from their parents, some use photo papers to play in notebooks,' he said.

As a regular student in the classroom, he discovered that 45% of school waste is waste paper. These types of paper are easy to write on, but it is difficult to delete. So he came up with the idea of being creative.

The class teacher Luong Phach is very supportive of this new initiative. He is also very afraid that they often use photo paper to make notebooks. 'Non-costly paper that you get from agencies to use not only creates waste but also gives students a bad habit of using public property'.

Tu Bang's products are good and resilient paper. On the surface of the pulp mixture he coated a shiny film with a thickness of 0.012mm.

Currently, Tu Bang only produces in small quantities for 30 yuan (4.3 USD) / page.

With this new creation, Tu Bang has been nominated for a list of participants in the youth technical innovation contest of Hefei city.
