The pictures of the beautiful Milky Way captivate viewers from the wonders of the universe and the beauty that nature has brought to man.
Recently, the travel and photography blog Capture the Atlas recently released a special collection of 25 photos of the Galaxy. These are all photos of the best night sky and Milky Way selected from around the world .
Unlike any other contest, there are no final or second prize winners in the Milky Way Photographer of the Year. Instead, Capture Atlas only selects and shares the 25 best photos of the Milky Way.
This year, the featured photos came from photographers in 14 different countries and in countries like Namibia, New Zealand, Chile, Australia. The photos selected in the final list all meet the quality criteria, story and inspiration that it gives viewers. The following is a short list of the 15 best works voted by Petapixel .
