See 'animals' through painting art on people
Shannon Holt, a body artist from Florida, USA, is famous for his work that transforms the human body into a unique, lively and soulful art painting.
"Florida Wildlife Series" is a collection of portraits of animals, all painted on the human body. Holt took about 6-12 hours to complete each work. In an interview with the press, Holt said using her body as "drawing paper" was a favorite for her.
"You can have a really beautiful work, a work that turns the human body into a 'sculpture' or an abstract work, or a copy of the Italian Renaissance painting , " she said.
In addition, Holt loved the "soon-to-die" nature of the art of drawing. "The work is just here, and soon it disappeared , " she said. "It's like ourselves - here we are, on this Earth, and then we leave. That's beauty."
