Beginning in June, 40 primary school students who are nearsighted in Singapore will participate in a three-month trial program to study how to treat myopia in children without eye surgery.

They will spend three sessions a week, 30 minutes each day training their visuals by sitting 1.5m away from the computer screen and clicking on the animations that appear on the screen. This is a way to 'exercise' the brain, increasing your ability to see clearly and reduce dependence on glasses.
