Mr. Nguyen Tu Tri checked the power saving device

He said that he uses the programming principle so that through the device, the air conditioner runs reasonably: running, resting, proper humidity. ' Pregnancy over this year and every step of adjustment until the machine is completed ' - Mr. Tri said.

According to his calculations, this device can save electricity when using air conditioning: daytime is 20%, at night up to 50%. The equipment was tested in two places: one at Mr. Le Quang Vu's house (Huynh Tan Phat, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) and one at the Energy Saving Center (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology). Chi Minh).

After a month, Mr. Le Quang Vu's family (using this power saving device for air conditioner 750W, the commonly used temperature is 26 degrees Celsius, used from 20:30 every night) commented: Programmable availability runs at idle; Especially after 23:30 every night, it adjusts to the air conditioner to operate mainly only fan mode '. Electricity consumption of Mr. Vu's family: the previous months averaged VND 280,000 / month; after assembling equipment, electricity in October 2005 was VND 195,000 (about 30% reduction).

Samples of Energy Saving Center on National 2-block household air conditioners, 2Hp electric capacity, cold capacity of 18,000 BTU / h.

The Center compares the results in two cases of no use and the use of a power saver (measurement time: one day and night for each case with the same cold load). Result: when using the power saver, the meter recorded the parameters: daytime electricity savings were insignificant, but at night (18h-24h), saving 26%; (24h-8h30) is 83%.

Mr. Pham Duy Phong, Head of Technical Department of Energy Saving Center, said: ' The device has a special energy saving effect at night, suitable for local air conditioning, especially old machines '.
