The University of Electricity Research has successfully developed three-phase and three-phase electronic meter SmartRF products, which outperformed the single-phase and three-phase electronic meters produced earlier in many face.

This product is the result of the research project "Research and manufacture of multifunctional electronic meters and remote power measurement systems" , won the second prize of the Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation 2010 energy saving and new energy use.

Associate Professor Dam Xuan Hiep said that SmartRF meters have high accuracy, no magnetic induction; capable of automatically calculating freight rates according to the program installed; set up three hourly rates per day, capable of automatic remote reading, central data transfer and archiving; minimize negative impact on indicator work, labor safety and improve customer service; Fully display the parameters U, I, P, Q of each phase separately and calculate the total power; Prevent confusion, steal electricity as well as power loss.

In fact, some companies are assembling electronic meters in the country, but until now all the "hardware design and software programs" are transferred by foreign firms, the part Water is just modular assembly.
