Smokers will soon become deaf

Smoking and obesity can cause long-term hearing damage. Both affect the blood flow to the ears, causing a lack of oxygen and do not remove toxins.

The latest study was conducted on 4,000 men and women aged 53 to 67. These people were tested for hearing, lifestyle and work.

Dr. Erik Fransen at the University of Antwerp in Belgium said that the ability to identify sounds at high frequencies by smokers and obesity is significantly compromised.

"Hearing loss is directly proportional to the degree of smoking and body index. It will get worse when you smoke continuously for more than 1 year. Also, unlike other parts of the body, one when it has been damaged, it will not be able to recover ".

Researchers say smoking and obesity disturbs blood flow to the ear, causing a lack of oxygen, and does not remove toxic waste from the ear, thus hurting the hearing.

Amanda Sandford, at the Anti-Smoking Action Organization, said it would be a warning to young smokers.

"A lot of young people think they will get rid of drugs when they get old and get rid of related diseases. But in some cases, the effects of smoking have happened and cannot be reversed."
