Solar powered bikes
Inventor Miroslav Mijevic of London design firm Z & Co has created a solar-powered bicycle that saves users' energy and is environmentally friendly.
The first version of the Cycle Sol is a bright yellow that operates like a normal bike but has a small dome connected to the battery system that covers the head. When running in the sun, the battery system will be fully charged to operate the small electric motor installed in the rear wheel, helping the car to run at speeds up to 24 km / h.
Not only that, the car can also be energized when reversed in the sun. Without sunshine, the user can charge the battery with electricity. To save energy, users can turn off the engine or just use it when climbing a slope.
In addition, the steering wheel is designed by Mijevic on both sides of the seat (instead of at the front) so users can comfortably lean on their backs while driving. Mijevic said that the Cycle Sol can be mass produced when he finds a manufacturer.
