Solution to improve the quality of Triple Play service
To answer the question: How to meet the requirements of customers both in value and quality of Triple Play service (voice and data service on cable TV), in the morning in Hanoi took place workshop with the topic " Complete telecommunications network: Quality of service for Triple Play ".
Nowadays, cable companies in the world have started to provide voice and data services based on cable television service (in Vietnam, providing data services based on cable television). That service is called Triple Play service (3-in-1 service: voice, data and video).
At this morning's seminar organized by Comit, the experts of IDSU Group (a leading provider of telecommunication test solutions) pointed out the cause of the deterioration of Triple Play service quality: congestion , excessive loss, noise, impedance error . are causing problems such as poor image quality, signal loss when switching channels, loss of picture . (for video services); dropped calls, broken calls, echoes . (for VoIP voice service); cannot access Internet, slow speed Internet access . (for broadband data service).
In addition to pointing out test methods and solutions to find out and overcome the above problems, IDSU experts also present process and test solutions right in the early stages of installation, deploying services to limit the errors that cause service outages or quality degradation.
The first focused Triple Play measurement solution was introduced in Vietnam. This solution allows service providers to get an overview of the quality of the Triple Play service they provide. At the same time, this solution helps to detect errors and quality problems early before customers feel them, while not having to send technical teams to detect on a complex environment like Triple Play.
Also at the seminar, IDSU experts introduced technology platforms and testing strategies to ensure service quality of digital video and television over Internet protocol (IPTV). This is a fast growing service in the world as well as in Vietnam.
