Some tricks in Windows XP
1. Cancel the current installation of compressed files (zip) in Windows XP
In Windows XP zip files are displayed as folders (folders). To cancel this display, do the following:
- Open command line mode ( Command Line: Start / run / cmd ).
- Type command: regsvr32 / u zipfldr.dll
To display it again as you did, use the command: regsvr32 zipfldr.dll
2. Turn off error message (Error Reporting)
If you're using WindowsXP, you've probably received a message dialog box of the form:

- First open the Registry Editor ( Start / run / regedit )
- To: HKEY_LOCAL _MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control StorageDevicePolicies
- Go to Edit> New> DWORD Value
- Enter a value of 1 (to prevent copying to USB), 0 (allow copy).
- After setting the value, restart the computer to see the result.
4. View computer information
To fully and clearly display your computer information, you simply do the following:
- Open command line mode ( Start> Run> CMD )
- In the command line window, type: systeminfo and Enter
So all the information you need about your computer appears (Windows version, memory capacity, etc.). It's easy, isn't it?
