Sony batteries are 'limited', Taiwanese goods meet the time
After Apple and Dell were forced to recall 5.8 million batteries (a record in the computer industry), observers said consumers would be afraid of lithium ion products labeled "made in Japan". And this is a great opportunity for Taiwan.

Sony is not the world's leading battery supplier because this title belongs to Sanyo Group, followed by Panasonic. However, changing to nearly 6 million batteries in a short time is not an easy task, especially in a situation where the world is in short supply of lithium ion batteries today.
Moreover, the incident is not the company's first battery disaster from the land of the rising sun. In October 2000, Compaq also recalled Sony's battery because of fears of fire. So where will handheld device manufacturers look for energy when Japan struggles? That is Taiwan.
Taiwanese products are often rated by consumers as "cheap and acceptable", ie not being classified as luxury goods. Sony's "accident" will enable these territorial manufacturers to assert their brands in high-end consumer electronics devices.
