Sony updates PSP connection software with PS3
Sony today announced that it will start updating the new system software for the PlayStation Portable so that the device can be linked to the next-generation gaming console to the PlayStation 3 via Wi-Fi.
This "update" will bring PSP's system software to version 3.0, which includes Sony's Remote Play remote support function. This allows media files stored on the PS3's hard drive, such as movies, to be streamed on PSP via wireless LAN.
