Spotted spiders have red fangs like blood in Australia

By owning a pair of red canines like blood, this spider makes many enemies fear of death.

Recently, biologist Mark Wong of Australian National University discovered a subspecies of funnel-net spiders ( Atrax sutherlandi ) in a small cave in New South Wales, Australia.

Further research, biologists say, funnel-mesh spiders specialize in thin but extremely dangerous funnel-shaped nets to catch prey.

When the prey gets caught in the net, the spiders seem to immediately rush in and pull the prey into the cave, not giving them a chance to escape.

Despite the ability to catch the bait like that, spider A.sutherlandi has a hobby of solitary life in the dark cave. Perhaps because living in a completely dark environment, spider eyesight is quite poor. Almost only male spiders come out of the cave to find partners, and the spider girls like to cower in the cave.

Beavis, who participated in the study, said: "It is very likely that this newly discovered individual spider has mutated genes so it has such eye-catching colors. We are studying and comparing the amount of venom that individual This new property is owned by spider A.sutherlandi ".

Currently, experts are still studying this species.
