Start the 5th APICTA competition

This Asia - Pacific Information Technology (Asia - Pacific Award) (APICTA) award was held in Chiang Mai, Thailand from February 16-19. The competition has the participation of 16 countries in the region. Vietnam has won 3 times over 4 exams.

Picture 1 of Start the 5th APICTA competition APICTA aims to raise awareness about IT - communication (ICT) and narrow the digital gap between countries in the region. Thereby, enhancing the position of Asia - Pacific in creativity, nurturing talents by providing interconnected networks and creating a foundation for evaluating and comparing the effectiveness of products. The competition is also a place of cooperation among participants, promoting economic exchanges, trade and technology transfer, creating business opportunities through product introduction to attract manufacturers and investors.

Participants include enterprises , research and training organizations , individuals who are the authors of ICT products of member countries. APICTA includes 14 categories such as e-government and public services, education and training, student student projects, research and development, platform tools and applications, security, applications. finance, industry, health, telecommunications, media - entertainment, tourism and general applications.

The award is made by voting through presentation (Judging by Presentation). Each candidate will present the product for 20 minutes and protect 10 minutes. At each specialty, at least 3 judges from different member countries participate in the scoring.

Registration documents include information about products, units, categories of prizes and product descriptions according to APICTA 2005 criteria. Registration deadline is January 15 .
