Start the WCG 2006 competition in Vietnam

This year's World Cyber ​​Games (WCG) has officially kicked off with promotion to 30 universities in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang and Can Tho. At the major entertainment centers of these cities, digital game lovers can learn about the rules of the game and actively download and try games.

This is the third year WCG has been conducted in Vietnam, with the message "Beyond the game." The organizers have received more than 10,000 student registration forms. will be held July 1-31, in all 4 cities, enabling all "digital riders" to have the opportunity to take the exam.

The national final is scheduled to take place in early August, at Phan Dinh Phung Gymnasium (HCMC), with three traditional game types: FIFA 2006 , StarCraft and WarCraft3 . The top three players of each type will participate in the global finals, in Monza City (Italy) October 18-22.

The city of Monza prepared the Autodromo Nazional Monza stadium, which hosted the Italian Grand Prix, for nearly 700 WCG players, from 70 countries to compete. During the competition, gamers will enjoy cultural and entertainment programs of many countries around the world.
