Stickers instead of needles

In the future, the annual flu vaccination may be more advantageous when scientists have successfully tested the replacement vaccine for traditional injections.

The patch containing the vaccine is inserted into the body with tiny needles and dissolves immediately afterwards. Initially, scientists from the Georgia Institute of Technology (USA) successfully tested the vaccine on 100 volunteers.

All of these people have a full immune response such as a regular injection and do not have any side effects.

The biggest benefit from the patch is that it is painless, easy to transport, requires no cold storage, longer shelf life.

Scientists hope that with low cost, convenience, the annual flu vaccination program will be more accessible to many people.
