CNC machine is a computer-controlled machine with specialized software to design, manufacture metal parts or other materials, with high precision, complex shapes.

Manufacturing in Vietnam

Many Japanese businesses go to Vietnam to find accessories suppliers for their products but this is not possible, partly because domestic enterprises lack high quality CNC machines for making accessories. Therefore, since 2003, decoding technology for CNC design and manufacture has been carried out through state-level scientific research projects and projects, with the aim of gradually improving this technology.

The first 5-axis CNC milling center was designed and manufactured in Vietnam - the product of the topic KC.05.28 / 01-05 (2005-2006).

The topic KC.05.28 / 01-05, chaired by Dr. Hoang Vinh Sinh, is to research and fabricate a prototype of the most modern CNC machine at that time: 5-axis CNC machine.The CNC machine price of the research team is only 85-90% of the price of imported machines with the same configuration and accuracy.This research has basically solved the technological problems in the context of Vietnam.

In the next topic KC.05.DA03 / 06-10, implemented in the 2008-2009 period, the mass production of CNC machines in Vietnam is considered an important goal.During this period, from the experience of technology decoding, BKMech successfully implemented the design and manufacture of CNC high-speed milling machines.This is a high-end machine tool, only a handful of well-known manufacturers can be manufactured due to the high complexity, requiring stable and reliable operation at speeds of 24,000 - 40,000 round / minute.To date, BKMech is the first unit in the country to complete the design and manufacture of this high-speed milling machine.

Mr. Vu Dinh Minh said that by 2015, a series of new products will come from the results of decoding this technology such as: lathe with C-axis, inclined tape lathe, large 2-column CNC machine, punching machine CNC . In the period from 2015-2020, Vietnam will create CNC machines with structures and features that are completely different from the existing ones, positioning the role of the machine tool industry. of Vietnam on the world map.
