Successfully invented the water-generating machine from the air

An Israeli company called Water-Gen has unveiled a machine that can create water from the air.

This machine has a water condensation system that helps create pure water with minimal energy consumption."We think our solution can solve the basic infrastructure problems in the countries. Air-absorbing water is an instant solution, with no time and cost." Water-Gen CEO Arye Kohavi shared.

Water-Gen is one of seven Israeli companies honored to introduce technology innovations at the UN General Assembly in the past week.

Currently the company is developing water generators with three different sizes. Under conditions of temperature of 26 degrees Celsius and 60% humidity, the largest machine can produce 3,122 liters of water per day and according to Kohavi the technology can be easily expanded. The average machine is capable of producing 446 liters of water per day under the same conditions and the smallest machine can produce 15 liters of water.

According to Water-Gen estimates, based on current electricity prices, the cost to produce one liter of water falls to about 0.03 USD. The company is seeking to bring its technology to two areas: the area does not have clean water to use and the hot and humid area.

"In hot or humid areas, the system will produce more water than the average , " Kohavi explained. He added that it is hot to have enough steam for the machine to operate regardless of humidity.

Water-Gen is testing their machines in cities like Mumbai, Shanghai and Mexico City.

Fortunately, the lack of water places like Latin America, Southeast Asia, Africa is often hot and humid.

Currently Water-Gen is testing their machines in cities like Mumbai, Shanghai and Mexico City as well as in rural areas. It is expected that these machines will be marketed by the end of next year.
