For the first time in world medicine history, a woman who gave birth successfully from the uterus was donated.

The first child formed from a donor uterus may be born next year, after 9 infertile women have received a new uterine transplant.

There will be 5 to 6 cases of uterine transplantation done in early 2012 in Sweden. If successful, this will be a breakthrough in medical history.
