Data from China's Zhurong rover has revealed what appears to be an ancient coastline running across Mars' northern hemisphere.

Through photographs of the spacecraft and method of spectral analysis, scientists from the US Aeronautics Agency (NASA) confirmed on the surface of Mars existed liquid water.
