Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a plan to preserve individuals of Sin-hoe (Hoan Kiem turtle) in Dong Mo and Xuan Khanh lakes in the period of 2018-2020.

The Sin-hoe species (Rafetus swinhoei) also known as Hoan Kiem turtle, is considered the world's most endangered, precious and rare turtle.

Lake Yen Lap (Quang Ninh) was built in 1978, at an altitude of 30.2m, 37m dam, water surface area is 182km2, maximum depth is 30m, reserve is over 130 million / m3 of water.
