The heatwave in the North will end from July 2nd due to a low-pressure trough bringing showers and thunderstorms; mountainous areas should be wary of flash floods and landslides.

This evening and tonight (October 18), the Northeastern region including the capital Hanoi may experience scattered showers and thunderstorms.

From this evening, May 15 to the end of May 16, the Northern region will have moderate rain, heavy rain of 40-70mm, and some places with heavy rain of over 150mm.

According to the Central Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, on June 16, the rain in the North expanded gradually as the low trench tended to move down and become stronger.
