Japan will be the host country for the 2020 Olympics.

Mobile phones contain small amounts of gold, silver and copper. This metal number filter helps fabricate 5000 medals. About 80,000 phones and other devices have been donated. 99% of other items used for Olympic will also be reused or recycled.

Unmanned taxi

Passengers can use their smartphones to unlock the door and pay for the car. This idea is strongly supported and more than 1500 people registered to participate in the test.

Solar lines

Japan is testing some of these roads in Tokyo. Solar panels are placed on the ground and covered with plastic to allow vehicles to pass through normally.

Robot translates Japanese for foreigners

The Olympic organizers plan to use robots at competition venues to assist foreigners, to help carry luggage for people with disabilities or the elderly.

With such technologies, the 2020 Olympics will be very different.
