Because of the boredom of so popular black-and-white photos at the time, Albert Kahn - a French banker decided to change. In 1909, he and four other photographers Leon Gimpel, Stephane Passet, Georges Chevalier and Auguste Leon began their world-wide journey with a camera in hand to record all that was observed, then , combined with the Autochrome Lumière image color method to create colored pictures. One of the cities they visited was Paris (in 1914) and 20 unique images of this poetic city are some of those unique collections.
