The black woman turns white after taking cancer medicine

Paula Edwards, 54 (UK), changed her skin color from black to white after taking kidney cancer medicine.

According to Metro, Paula was diagnosed with kidney cancer at the end of 2012. Her prognosis doctor only survived about 12-18 months. However, since then, it has been more than 5 years since then, this woman still lives and completes her job as a community care worker.

Last year, the mother of two children underwent a fourth surgery and started taking a cancer treatment called Votrient. Paula said the drug had a side effect that caused her to have blisters in her tongue, hands, and skin, which clearly turned white. Doctors must seek help from experts in the United States.

Paula said she realized for the first time that her skin was glowing when she saw the old picture taken with her daughter on her 18th birthday last May 14. She found her skin a little different but still black. So far Paula's skin color has been much brighter.

The woman felt insulted when many people blamed and accused "getting rid of the original skin" because she thought she was going to whiten the skin. Paula didn't know what to do but pray that her skin didn't get white. Paula revealed that her 9-year-old youngest daughter said, "You don't look like your mother."

"Doctors say this is a side effect of cancer medicine, but they don't know if I'm completely turned into a white person , " Paula said.
