According to the Telegraph, this is an unidentified fish. Fins like wings and tail like eel. It lived at a depth of more than 8,100m, beating the record of 7,700m of the pink tadpole fish found in the Japanese, Pacific trench, 2011.
"We think this is a tadpole (snailfish) but the shape and mouth are quite strange. When swimming, it's like having a wet sheet floating behind," said Dr. Alan Jamieson of the University. Aberdeen said.
The team hopes this finding will open up more information to study the viability of organisms in extreme conditions."Many studies have been conducted in the groove area, but the ecological aspect is very limited , " said Dr Jeff Drazen.
