The deepest fish in the world

Unidentified fish species have been discovered living at depths of more than 8,000m under the Pacific Ocean.

According to the Telegraph, this is an unidentified fish. Fins like wings and tail like eel. It lived at a depth of more than 8,100m, beating the record of 7,700m of the pink tadpole fish found in the Japanese, Pacific trench, 2011.

"We think this is a tadpole (snailfish) but the shape and mouth are quite strange. When swimming, it's like having a wet sheet floating behind," said Dr. Alan Jamieson of the University. Aberdeen said.
