The face of the real person lived thousands of years ago, 'beautiful every millimeter' caused many people to be deceived
Oscar sculptures describe people throughout the course of history, giving us insight and intrigue about the past.
Since the time of Neanderthals (appearing on Earth earlier than the ancestors of modern humans - Homo sapien) until today 's civilized age, humanity has come a long way. People not only develop emotionally and intellectually but our face structure also changes over time. When you look in the mirror, the face you see is the result of millions of years of evolution.
That's what inspired the sculptor and Swedish archaeologist, Oscar Nilsson. He himself sculpted a series of human faces using excavated bones as references. Yes, sculpture, not drawing, sculptures "beautiful every millimeter" make everyone fooled.

The young man who lived in the VIII century AD and came from Switzerland was named Adelasius Ebalchus by researchers.
Combining scientific research and artistic skills, Oscar made sculptures based on real bone fragments he found during archaeological excavations.
Oscar explains: "This technique is based on both facial tissue depth measurements and facial muscle reconstruction". Each extremely authentic sculpture shows "incredible" detail, including bone structure, facial hair and even wrinkles.
The sculpture of a young girl living in the Mesolithic era.
One of Oscar's most prominent works is a bust of a young Greek girl who lived 9,000 years ago, the Mesolithic era (about 7,000 BC). With a jaw and a scowling expression, the shape of the girl's face gives people a basic picture of the life of the people at that time. The girl's solid jaw was thought to be due to chewing animal skin to turn it into soft skin - a common practice in Mesolithic humans.
Oscar has rebuilt the portraits of many Stone Age women and men. With help from a group of specialized craftsmen and scientists, Oscar provided his sculptures to museums around the world.
