Axiom is planning to design and build its own space station components from ISS. This project is expected to be completed in 2024 with an estimated cost of up to 1.5 billion USD. The first commercial space station will have a 3D printer and many small satellite stations around.

Blachman said they envisioned hundreds of 3D printing turbines and super special alloys to reduce the cost of producing them in later years, from 2026 to 2028. Axiom is also working with Made in Space. , a California-based company in 3D printing deployment on ISS.
