The first US shuttle is about to be re-exported.

The Enterprise was ready to reappear after a long time away from the public to overcome the consequences of Hurricane Sandy.

Enterprise, the first space shuttle of the US Space and Aeronautics Agency (NASA), will return to display this Wednesday at Intrepid Marine, Air and Space Museum, New York, USA.

The shuttle was introduced to the public in July last year on the Intrepid platform, which was an aircraft carrier that has transformed since the Second World War. However, Hurricane Sandy attacked Manhattan in October last year, causing much damage, forcing the ship to undergo repairs.

A sturdy metal frame was set up on Intrepid to protect the Enterprise. According to Susan Marenoff-Zausner, president of the Intrepid Marine, Air and Space Museum, this reopened opening will be interesting for visitors to the museum.

The shuttle Enterprise is protected by a three-meter-tall covering. Visitors can walk and visit inside it. According to Marenoff-Zausner, the museum is working hard to bring the perfect display, to help Enterprise shuttle inspire creative generations of the future.

The construction of the shuttle Enterprise shielding system made Intrepid the Sea, Air and Space Museum one of America's historic destinations since March. In the future, Intrepid aims to build a long-term exhibition space for the shuttle and provide other educational programs.

Enterprise is one of the most famous ships in the 30-year US shuttle program and also the first ship produced for NASA. Since the shuttle program ceased operation in 2011, NASA had to resort to the Russian Soyuz spacecraft to bring astronauts to space stations.
