The flood of pipes again sweeped Lao Cai
The heavy rain that lasted from 4:00 am to 9:00 am 8-9 caused flooding on Ngan stream, the water level suddenly increased to 3-4m, sweeping over dozens of houses in Vach village, Cam Duong commune, Lao Cai city .
According to initial statistics, there are about 20 houses flooded with water; dozens of fishponds and ponds were broken, many rice fields, orchards, vegetable gardens were covered and damaged.
According to Lao Cai Hydrometeorological Center, this is a late flood because of climate change and deforestation, building many hydropower plants at the source.
Local people said that they have never suffered from such many consecutive floods.
This is the third flood of floods sweeping Cam Duong commune since the beginning of the rainy season this year. Recently, on September 4, the flood of pipes flooded this commune, causing damage to nearly 60 houses and dozens of hectares of rice and aquaculture ponds of the people.
