This phenomenon is caused by snowflakes in the air, especially when cirrus clouds are at an altitude of 6100m above sea level.

In cold weather, these clouds can contain millions of 6-sided snowflakes and light reflected from the moon through the air, which will shine through snowflakes. In particular, light shining at an angle of less than 22 degrees, will occasionally produce a halo ring 22 degrees, 44 times larger than the moon.

The color on this aura will appear depending on the lighting angle, so if you look closely you will see the inside is red and the outside is blue.

This phenomenon not only happens to the moon, but also to the sun. Occasionally, this aura is accompanied by a false sun phenomenon, making light a straight line.
