1. Prohodna Cave is famous for holes like the eyes of the sky.

The cave has a total length of 262m and the present height is about 42.5 to 45m. This helped Prohodna become the longest cave in Bulgaria.

In addition, the most attractive point in this limestone cave is the two almond shaped holes on the ceiling in the middle space. It is known that these "god eyes" are formed by natural erosion. During the day, the light in the hole crept into each corner. And when the night came, looking from the inside of the cave, the moonlight shining through the hole also formed a fanciful natural scene.

It is no coincidence that Prohodna was named by the people as "God's Eyes". The two almond-shaped holes lay close to each other, making visitors feel like they are facing a pair of giant eyes looking down.
