The lava lamp is 50 years old
It has been 50 years since its invention, lava lamps, or lava lamps, are still very popular.
The luminous, flowing lava-like light was once a symbol of British culture in the 1960s.
The first lava lamp was built in 1963 by former British WWII aviator Edward Craven-Walker.
Craven-Walker took the idea from the boiled egg timer he discovered at a pub in England.

Initially, the lava lamp used soda bottles, cocktail shakers containing oil and beeswax. Later, the inventor perfected it with special glass containers.
"There is something in the lava that attracts people ," said Anthony Voz, a lava collector. I think that is the movement inside the lamp. That is how the light and the flow within each lamp blend. "
Each lamp has different colors and light. It creates a sense of mystery, and really attracts people. "
Since its inception, more than 1 million of these products have been produced and exported to customers around the world.
Today, lava lamps can be used for decoration and can even be applied on the stage. Many people can make their own lanterns to donate to their friends or relatives.
