The majestic volcanic eruption scene

Playing with death around the volcanoes erupting lava up to 1,000 degrees Celsius is not the desire of many people. However, for the adventurous photographer Skarphedinn Thrainsson, access to the world's most dangerous volcanoes is truly a passion.

In addition to being lucky to survive and not be injured by the smog and lava melting on the ground around him, photographer Thrainsson, 39, also created a miracle when taking extremely impressive photos. statues of volcanoes.

From bright orange lava beams shot up into the night sky like fireworks to reckless associates standing only from the pouring streams of rain from the sky, the works of photographer Thrainsson showed another aspect, beyond the destruction of volcanoes.

" They are the most amazing things I've ever experienced in my life. It's hard to describe how you feel when standing in front of an erupting volcano, with all that," said Thrainsson. both the heat, the noise, the smell of the smoke and the lightning bolts, you will feel very small and helpless before a volcano, returning to the normal landscape photography afterwards is really boring. ".

Still, this adventurous photographer from Iceland must confess: " It's extremely dangerous. And sometimes, I have to walk through new lava layers so it's easy to burn. In the area around the Eyjafjallajokull volcano in Iceland, where I took a lot of photos last year, it was also very dangerous because lightning struck through the haze . "

Mr. Skarphedinn has obtained incredible images of volcanic eruptions at Fimmvorduhals and Eyjafjallajokull in the southern coast of Iceland. The results of these two incidents are very different. While the Fimmvorduhals volcano is quite "friendly" with the red flowing lava flows, the second eruption has blinded all over Europe, causing air traffic in the area to be paralysis for a short time 2 years ago.

Mr. Skarphedinn revealed he planned to go to Hawaii and some other places to continue his passion for photography. Let's admire some works on the majestic beauty of volcanoes erupting under the corner of this adventurous photographer:
