The man has a heart in the abdomen

A 24-year-old man in China suffers from a congenital heart defect located in the abdominal cavity, making him feel short of breath and tired when standing upright.

Huang Rongming, who lives in China's Henan Province, lived for 24 years with a heart in the chest cavity instead of his chest until the doctor warned Huang's condition was getting worse and needed emergency surgery.

Huang has a rare congenital heart defect that occurs only in 5/1 million births and most patients die shortly after birth. When Huang was born, the doctors didn't think he would survive because his heart was protruding and vulnerable.

Huang's parents admitted they were worried when he was young and said Huang was not allowed to play with other children for fear of death. Congenital malformations make Huang difficult to breathe and become tired if he is upright and can suddenly die if the heart is strongly affected.

Earlier this year, Huang was taken to treatment at Wuhan Hospital, the test results showed that the condition of the 24-year-old boy was rapidly deteriorating and he needed immediate surgery. But due to being a pure family, Huang's parents could not afford to pay about 200,000 yuan for the operation.

Huang's story was later posted on the Chinese media and within 6 days after his story was published, the reader supported enough money for Huang's operation.

The operation of transferring the heart from Huang's abdomen to Huang's chest lasted more than 10 hours and ended successfully. Huang's stomach is now flat.

'It is a dream come true. I will have a normal life like the others. I want to say thank you to benevolent hearts , 'Huang said after undergoing surgery to change his life.
