The new elevator, named MULTI, is based on magnetic lifting technology. It can move in both horizontal and vertical directions within the 12 wells of the building.

"MULTI does not use steel cables or ropes, which reduces 40% of space requirements , " said Andreas Schierenbeck, general manager of ThyssenKrupp.

In addition, the elevator is also equipped with utilities such as maintenance monitoring and remote access control. The manufacturer has replaced the coarse buttons with the phone application to guide users to move within the building and prevent them from entering the restricted area.

Schierenbeck said the product will begin to be installed in 2019 in the Middle East and Asia, where skyscrapers appear increasingly due to urbanization.
