The 2017 astronomy photography contest received over 3,800 entries from over 90 different countries around the world.

Artem Mironov, a Russian photographer, defeats every line of professional and amateur photographers from all over the world to win the 2017 Insight Astronomy Photographer contest, by the Greenwich Observatory, England, co-organized with Insight Investment and BBC Night Sky Magazine, International Business Timeshôm 9/15 reported.
The photograph of Artem Mironov captures Rho Ophiuchi Cloud Cluster , or molecular cloud Rho Ophiuchi , located 460 light-years away in the constellation Ophiuchus.This is one of the regions where star formation is closest to the solar system.(Photo: Artem Mironov).
